Free idle RPG
AwayWard
Close the game. Your hero keeps going.
Pick a class, point your hero at a region, and walk away. They fight, gather and level while you are gone. Play it online with a faction, or completely offline on a plane.
Latest build: v0.15b, Artisan Forge. Crafting rebuilt around your level, 16 craft-only Artisan Lines with 112 new pieces, and lighter online play. Patch notes.
Sixty seconds
The trailer, and none of it is faked
Every shot is the running game: a real overnight report, a real pity pull on pull 400, a real world raid fought to the last hit point. Skip to whichever bit you came for.
The loop
Four things, over and over
And none of them need you sitting there watching a bar fill.
Fight
Your hero auto-battles through 349 creatures, enemy packs, roaming bosses and seven spawn variants.
Bank it while away
Gold, XP and gear pile up for 4 hours offline, or 24 once the Camp Lantern is maxed.
Gear up
Procedural loot, boss sets, sockets and runewords. Equip Best shows you the power change first.
Rebirth
Cash the run in for soul gems and stardust, then climb the Constellations web and go again.
Try it
Leave the lantern lit
Pick how long you are gone, then watch the night go by and collect what is waiting. These rolls are a toy, but the offline cap is real.
While You Were Away
Base cap is 4 hours. The Camp Lantern upgrade adds 2 hours a level, up to 24.
Honest gacha
Pull the banner, see the rates
These are the game's actual odds and the game's actual pity, read straight out of the engine. Legendary is brutal on purpose. Pity is the way through, and it remembers you between visits.
Companion banner
100 companions, twenty in every rarity.
Your pity counters live in this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the game keeps its own.
One setting
Shared world, or just yours
Flip it whenever. Online you share the realm with real people. Offline the same world runs on your device with no connection at all.
🌐 Online
A live shared realm on a real backend.
- A player-run market with escrow and a 5% fee
- Four factions with pooled upgrades and research
- The Convergence, a realm-wide co-op world raid
- Leaderboards, and a gallery for your house
🌋 Offline
The whole game, no connection needed.
- 42 rival adventurers keep leveling without you
- They stock the market and fill the leaderboard
- Built for a flight, a commute, a quiet evening
- Reconnect and it syncs. The real players come back
What you grow into
Systems, for people who like systems
If you play Idle Clans, Melvor, Milky Way Idle or NGU, you know the shape. The difference here is a complete offline mode.
Idle combat
349 enemies over 31 regions, with elite, super, ancient, spectral, gilded, ULTRA and PRIMAL variants, plus enemy packs.
Loot
Six rarities, nine slots, 210 rarity-aware looks, boss sets, relics, auto-salvage. Crafted gear rolls hotter.
Runeforge
Six rune materials, sockets by rarity, 13 runewords, transmog, and tempering past +5.
Summons
Five banner types rotating twice a month, real pity, and a reveal worth watching.
Companions
100 of them, two traits each, their own pixel idle. Duplicates level them to 25.
Abilities
Over 400 across 7 schools, plus 20 loadout combos that wake slot-free skills.
Gathering
Six professions, 49 nodes, six Disciplines to train, and an auto-crafter that gets better as you do.
Prestige
Soul gems, soul upgrades, Quick Start, uncapped Paragon, and a 21-node Constellations web.
Real screens
No mockups anywhere on this site
Every shot below is the game running.

The Hunt
Live HP bars, a combat feed, the zone boss counting down, your nemesis waiting, and your co-op party swinging alongside you.

The art
Everything is drawn once, and drawn properly
Every item, creature and companion has its own pixel art, and the same picture follows it through combat, your bag, crafting, the Bestiary, housing, summons and the Codex. The game and the Discord edition show the same thing.
All 1356 pieces are in the Compendium, sorted and searchable.

The world
One road, 31 regions, level 1 to 250
From the Verdant Forest to the Worldheart, all on one continent with a single lit road running through every camp. Around it sit 217 named wild places to walk to, lit by the hour from dusk to dawn.
Twenty of these turned up in Atlas, v0.11b. What came with them.
Companions
Something follows you around
Each one boosts combat, economy, gathering or survival, and levels up off its own duplicates. Five of the hundred.

One hero, two homes
The same game, in Discord
Not a companion app. The bot runs the real thing in any server or DM, and adds three classes, 50 companions and Companies of its own. Try a few commands.
🔗 Cross-save, automatically
Link once and your hero follows you.
- Your save lives in the cloud and syncs in the background
- Settings then Cloud in the game, or /link in the bot
- Hunt on your PC, check in from your phone over lunch
- A Stormcaller, Herald or Alchemist made in Discord plays in the game too
- If both copies moved on, you pick which to keep. Nothing is overwritten quietly
🤖 What Discord adds
Things the bot has and the game does not.
- Three extra classes and 50 extra companions
- Companies, trading, co-op Expeditions and Clan Clash
- Friendly spars, and a right-click menu on your friends
- The same pixel art, in servers and DMs, nothing to install
Your hero is already out there.
Start a run, close the game, come back to the spoils. Free, and great on its own.
