System requirements
- OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- Graphics: runs on the Compatibility (OpenGL / ANGLE) renderer, so old and integrated GPUs are fine
- Disk: a few hundred MB for the self-contained build
- Network: optional. Online unlocks the shared world; Offline Mode needs no connection at all
Sharing the build with a friend? Send the full self-contained zip, not a lone exe. A bare
AwayWard.exe ships without its runtime files and will open to a blank window. Your friend unzips
all files into one folder, runs AwayWard.exe, and clicks "More info" then "Run anyway" on the
unsigned-app SmartScreen prompt.
Free to play. Every purchase is cosmetic or convenience only. You can never buy power, gold or gacha luck.
